Summary
Tilića Ada is a municipal landfill on the eastern edge of Zvornik, in the Karakaj settlement, sitting right on the left bank of the river Drina about 100 metres away and within its flood zone. It covers about two hectares and lies over a shallow alluvial aquifer that the report notes as important for water supply but sensitive to pollution. Testing showed that, in the landfill soil, nickel reached a level indicating that cleanup is needed both in the waste body and at its edge, and cadmium and cobalt reached that level in the waste body. Several other metals were above the level at which land is no longer considered clean. The water of the river Drina beside the landfill met all the tested limits.

- Copper, zinc, chromium and lead were above the level at which land is no longer considered clean in the landfill soil.
Positive findings
- The water of the river Drina beside the landfill met all the tested limits — metals, oil-related pollutants and combustion-related compounds were all within limits.
- Copper, lead, zinc, chromium and selenium stayed within remediation limits in the soil, and at the landfill edge cadmium and cobalt did as well.
- Oil-related pollutants and combustion-related compounds were within limits in the landfill soil.
